#さよなら築地 #築地移転 #築地場内市場 #ShotByMe #Repost @synmusic.world ・・・ In 1993, Syn moved into the 22nd floor of coolest, tallest, newest building in Tsujiki with panoramic views looking out over the fish market, down Harumi Dori towards Ginza and Shinjuku in the distance. It was the perfect location for me and Syn and I loved writing music with that inspiring view. Advertising deadlines would frequently require pulling all nighters and we always tried to take a break and wonder into Tsukiji at 4AM crammed with delivery trucks and 1 man gas powered carts packed with pallets of fresh fish. This routine re-energised the team and made us feel Syn was part of the Tsukiji community. It was a magical, mysterious place that I’ll never forget. Syn moved away from Tsukiji in 1996 but I’ve always gone back to shop and to eat over the years. My favourite trip to Tsukiji was in 2016 when I had the chance to experience an incredible VIP tour (including the sacred Tuna auctions) with Syn’s co-founders Simon and Yasmin Le Bon and our dear friends Koichi Shinno and Glenn Boothe. Sadly Tsukiji closes on October 8th, the end of an era. Sayonara Tsukiji.
